Speaker of Parliament Tsveta Karayancheva has presented to Professor Nikolay Ovcharov the Wonders of Bulgaria grand award in the category of Cultural and Historical Attraction. The winner is Perperikon archaeological complex.
Tsveta Karayancheva said that she was very excited to present the award to professor Ovcharov. She wished the distinguished Bulgarian archaeologist to keep working with passion and persistence as before.

In her words, the ceremony has turned the campaign into a cause of patriotism, which inspires, unites, and makes us stronger in the world. It shows our history, what we have given to the world, because we are an ancient nation, we have a lot to show and be proud of, added the Speaker of Parliament.
The Wonders of Bulgaria award-giving ceremony was attended by Vice President Iliyana Yotova, Minister of Culture Boil Banov, Chair of parliamentary Culture and Media Committee Vezhdi Rashidov, MPs, mayors, etc.
